Your precious gems and jewelry are examined in our laboratory by a qualified, graduated gemologist F.G.G. (DGemG e.V.). We place a high emphasis on utilizing advanced technology, such as MagiLabs’ spectrometry, alongside traditional examination methods to ensure the utmost accuracy and care for your items.
Our service offers the collection of standardized data and the integration of results using advanced technology. We primarily identify and evaluate using Raman spectroscopy, photoluminescence, UV-VIS-NIR spectroscopy, and fluorescence spectrometry, and verify the results through standardized testing methods such as refractometry.
The documentation of measurement results and corresponding conclusions through the integration of graphs generated by spectral analysis remains a unique feature, contributing significantly to the long-term quality assurance of our reports.
Many jewelry pieces have their gemstones set in such a way that examination with traditional instruments, like refractometers, is simply not feasible. In these cases, analysis can only be conducted with what we refer to as “advanced technology” if one wishes to avoid disassembling the gemstones.
Our Gemstone Reports are written in English to be internationally applicable, ensuring they can be used worldwide.
We charge a basic price of 20 € for all gemstones or pieces of jewelry delivered to us, which is offset against the service actually provided.
